THERMOFLEX

Thermoflex, a thermo activated material, is a unique product compared to the typical hard acrylic material. It softens slightly in warm water, or in the mouth, thus conforming more readily to tooth contours. As it cools, it returns to the processed state, thus maintaining fit integrity. The thermo elasticity allows it to gain retention by engaging the lingual and buccal interproximal spaces, and maintain retention from the lingual and buccal undercuts formed naturally by the teeth. The slightly softer material gives added comfort to the patient and requires minimal adjustments, reducing chairtime for the dentist.
